OGAE International Bureau Elections

According to the OGAE International statutes, the Bureau elections will take place at the next general Presidents’ Meeting in Tel Aviv 17 May 2019. You can find out more information on the Bureau here.

Elections will take place for each of the following seven posts:
Bureau members (2)
Deputy members (2)

The Bureau is calling for applications to the seven posts. Any active member of an OGAE member club is invited to put themselves forward for election. Please note that the actual elections will take place in Tel Aviv at the Presidents’ Meeting but the respective candidates do not have to be present during the Presidents’ Meeting. Please note, a number of current Bureau members have indicated that they plan to not stand for re-election, so there are vacant positions to fill.

Those interested in putting themselves forward should contact their national club and include a short cv/resume and explanation of why they would like to serve on the Bureau. Any nominations from members of OGAE Rest of the World must be emailed to contact@ogaerotw.com no later than Noon CET on 17 April. We will then submit all nominees (if any) from RoW to the coordinator.

Information about the candidates will be circulated to the presidents by email no later than 20 April. The respective candidates will then have the opportunity to introduce themselves in the Presidents’ meeting in May. In the interests of fairness, OGAE International kindly ask the candidates not to engage in any campaigning ahead of the meeting. The Presidents will make their decision based on the candidates’ applications, presentations and the answers to any questions in the Presidents‘ Meeting.
