Sweden at Eurovision
Ahh Sweden… A very consistent track record, including a record-tie of 7 wins, and with the most successful entry to become a global phenomenon (you know who I mean), they are a force to be reckoned with!
In honour of their win in Liverpool in 2023, we will be looking back over the years Sweden have participated in the Eurovision Song Contest, as both a retrospective review, and to find our club’s favourite Swedish entries. Debuting in 1958, missing only three contests since - 1964, 1970 and 1976, there are a total of 63 songs!
You will need to score every entry between 1 and 10 points. You may have many entries you would give 10 points to, and that is perfectly fine! Each individual song can have whatever score you deem appropriate.
We will, of course, host two watch parties, so we can come together and review and discuss each song Sweden sent to our beloved contest! These will be held on the follow date (and times):
