OGAE Second Chance Contest 2025

This year, we head to Firenze for the Second Chance Contest, after Italy's domination in the OGAE Contests last year. OGAE Italy have had a huge response this year, and two HUGE contests to run for the OGAE network. Annalisa took out the 2024 edition with the song ‘Sinceramente’, marking Italy’s 4th victory, and Annalisa’s SECOND!!!


The time has come to start voting on who will win this year’s contest!

What is the 2024 Second Chance Contest?

Entries from participating country’s national selections are eligible to participate as a “second chance”. Only one entry can be nominated to represent the country they tried out for, and ultimately did not succeed in winning. For the Rest of the World, we are able to enter an entry from a national selection of a participating country who does not have a current OGAE club. That is, this year, San Marino.

This year, 25 clubs have submitted an entry into the Second Chance Contest, including our selection Besa with “Tiki” from the San Marinese selection. Obviously, we cannot vote for our own representative.

So now, we get to review the 24 songs we can vote for, before deciding who gets points from each of us.

Voting is easy… Cast your votes using the 12, 10 8-1 point system we are all too familiar with. Then we will tally up all the member votes, and provide these to OGAE Italy to include in their presentation of the outcome (along with the results of the other participating and “jury” OGAE Clubs)!
