Losing their Eurovision virginity - a #2020Points opportunity

Every country that competes at Eurovision has to lose its virginity. Some, like our 2020 hosts The Netherlands did so all the way back in 1956. Others, like Australia, had to wait until 2015 to pop their Eurovision cherry. A few countries did so well in their first Eurovision that they won! We are going back to look at every country’s first time to relive the moment.

Below is each of the songs for every country that has ever participated in Eurovision. Have a watch of all of the tracks and when you are done we want you to let us know your thoughts. Specifically, we’d like to know:

1)   Which of these songs you think aced their first time – the best song in the bunch.

2)   Which of these songs you think bombed – the worst song in the bunch.

3)   Which of these songs is your guilty pleasure.

4)   Which is/was the most memorable (can be for good or bad reasons!).

Voting will close on 29 July at Noon CET. Every member that votes will earn 15 points towards the #2020Points list. The voting form can be found at the bottom of the page after all of the songs.
