Windmills and wind machines

The Netherlands is known for their windmills, and Eurovision is known for its wind machines. For our final #2020Points opportunity, we want to celebrate the wind machine, and the role it plays in making Eurovision great.

Members are invited to send us your best ode to the wind machine. This can take many forms, and we want you to get creative! Some options you might want to consider include:

-       a short video or photo of you recreating a favourite wind machine moment;

-       a poem about the role wind machines play at Eurovision; or

-       a craft or baking project.

You don’t need to be confined to one of these ideas, let your imagination run wild. There are a few rules you will need to keep in mind:

a)    Your submission must be your own work, and must have been created in October 2019.

b)   If you submit a video, it cannot be more than 30 seconds long.

c)    Your submission must include a reference to Eurovision, and a reference to a wind machine, or a performance that included a wind machine.

d)   Submissions will be shared with others in the club. All will be placed on Facebook (noting that the Facebook group is a ‘secret’ group and only those in the group can see anything on our page – so it will not be publicly visible to non-members). They may also be shared on the website. If you do not want it to be uploaded to the website you will need to specify this in your submission.

e)    To be awarded points each member must submit their own entry. If two members choose to submit a combined entry then the points will be divided amongst the parties.

THIS POINTS OPPORTUNITY HAS NOW CLOSED.
